Project Info
year built: 1928
location: Rapid City SD
bar opening: June 2011
Project Team
client: Isis Hospitality
ISIS Hotels and Resorts
Architect: AcV2 Architecture. Here are the original rendering.

Fire Feature Manufacturer: Moderustic Inc, That's us!
Here is how it all started:

Now after building, crating and shipping, bring them up 120' straight up!

Now get ready to just relax and enjoy!

Now for the three 5 foot round tables. This is how we assembled the tables.

That was the rough fit and finish. Now for the final fit, brushing and clear coat powder coat.
This is how we designed and fabricated these round tables with electronic ignitions.

We design and build all of our own tables, features, pits or what ever you like.

58" across to have a 62" piece of granite laminated to the granite.

Now for the crating, shipping and crane it up.

Now for the two 11' fireplaces. The were constructed of #5052 grade aluminum. Take a look as we built these two fireplaces.

With a new technique we are able to make the flames dance on the back and make them appear to be bending out of the fireplace, pretty cool!

We can even get the flames to reflect at the top of the fireplace as well. How is that for a new idea and or concept?

The flames look like a fire piano.

Now we added glass (Starfire) and watch the flames.

Below: Do you see the upper reflection? Now how long do think it will be before the fireplace industry knocks this one off? With what we know and what we have done, I don't think they are smart enough. By the time the industry figures this one out, we will have already moved on creating and giving you new and exciting products.

We employed a special method of brushing and prepping the metal then we clear coated with a special heat resistant powder coating. The end result was awesome!

October 26th, yes Halloween party time, just wait and see below!

Now for the Vortex Fire features.
48" tall Vortex.
16" tall brushed bases.
Clear coated (powder coat) and decals of the "V" logo from the Vertex Sky Bar
We will fill in the details as we post more pictures.

The next fire pit was built for one of the owners, Paul Bradsky. 48" round, electronic ignition, black powder coated, V Blue glass and 4" Fire Balls. Start to finish, here we go:
